SENTINEL

A slow H4 swing bot with a daily trend filter, one trade at a time and a flat-by-the-weekend rule. Built to be calm.

How it works

SENTINEL is built to do very little. It checks the daily trend, takes an H4 setup in that direction, holds one trade at a time and closes before the weekend. The news filter keeps it out around high-impact releases, so it is a calmer way to run a bot on gold.

Key features

  • Daily trend filter on an H4 entry
  • One open trade at a time, wide stop, small lots
  • Closes positions before the weekend
  • News filter pauses new entries around high-impact releases and resumes after a cooldown you set

Suits you if

Newer traders and anyone who wants a patient bot that is easy to monitor and does not trade all day.

Watch out for

Wide stops mean each loss is larger in pips, so lot size matters. It trades only a few times a week, so it needs patience, and calm does not mean risk-free.
